Will your kids be attending École Beaubassin? 2 Years, 2 Months ago  
Hi,

I am a mom with two kids (a boy who is 3 yrs old and a girl who is 7 months old) and am looking for other families who's children will be attending École Baubassin in Bedford when they start school. It would be great for my son to get to know kids he will be going to school with.

Hi there, I saw your post about your kids starting Ecole Beaubassin in Bedford. We are planning on moving to the Halifax area in the spring, and we are trying to find french speaking people from the school. We are looking at Hammonds Plains. Can you tell me if you know what other neighborhoods have french speaking kids that would go to that school?

I think francophone families are pretty much spread out throughout HRM. Since my kids aren't in school yet, I haven't really connected with many french families. There is the francophone community centre in Dartmouth that may have more insight into where most people live. (Centre Communautaire du Grand-Havre)

Hello - We also plan on putting our son in Beaubassin. He's only 9 months old now and I dont speak french but my husband is French from QUebec so we definately want to make sure our little guy is bilingual.
I'd love to meet other moms close to home with little ones.
