I'm Alice, I live in the West end with my partner and two sons Alfie (1 1/2) and Noah (4). We moved here from the UK last year so if you're new to the area and are feeling like a lost Brit, email me - I know how it feels and I might be able to give you some tips on the local lingo and customs - hee hee (just don't ask for the toilet or sign your messages with a kiss xxx ). Also, my youngest has Down syndrome so we have lots of specialness info.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how this forum progresses.

We are new to Halifax, just arriving before Christmas.
I have a daughter Becca, who is amazing and also 3.5 so becoming fiercely independent and very fun Ethan is my baby boy of almost 9 months. We are very active and enjoy adventures, hiking, swimming, libraries and museums.

We are so looking forward to getting to know Halifax and other moms/families.

My boyfriend works in Shearwater and we have lived here for almost 3 years but I have met very few people in the area. It would be nice to meet some moms I am originally from the Annapolis Valley.
