The Discover Centre is a great place to take toddlers and preschoolers. Even if they don't understand the science behind the displays young kids still have a great time playing. I highly recommend getting a membership and dropping in for a few hours once every couple of weeks. Our kids enjoy it every time we go.

I 'second' the Discovery Centre. There's lot of different things to do - my 3yo really likes the big sandbox and bubble room. Great for a rainy day!

I have never brought them there! I thought it would be over their heads! How much does it cost to go?

We love the Museum of Naturak History and just today we finally did the Bean Sprout Cafe. Fun!! Comfy, great playplace and we all got hot choc and snacks for $10.

I also enjoyed On The Grow's indoor playground but found it a bit pricey.

The tickle trunk playgroup is our fav and a weekly must-go. Tons of toys, snacks and beverages for adults, snack and crafts for kids..songs and stries too!! It's at Weir field and $4 for mommy and 1 kid. Too fun!

Hi - my folks were with us when I bought a year membership at the Discovery Centre, and because my Dad asked "how much would it be for us (being from C", we were told it was $40 for out of towners. Naturally, my dad picked up the tab and used his address and we saved a lot. $40 for a family year-long pass - it can't be beat.
