Hi!

I am looking for a meadow with flowers in it that would be suitable for taking some spring photos in. Does anyone know of any around?

Thanks in Advance!!

Wow, Heather, what an interesting question! I honestly have no idea - just wanted to say what a great idea for spring photos! I know we have some photographers as members so hopefully they will have some ideas to share.

I'm not sure of any meadow's, but Mount Saint Vincent University has some really nice spots for pictures.

Meghan - that's a great idea, thanks for posting it!

Heatherb - I was at Ross Farm yesterday and their fields are full of dandelions - I think it's quite pretty but I know that's not what a lot of people mean when they say 'flowers'! I don't know what their policy on photos is though, if you were going with a professional photographer and all that.

If you find any place, please do let us know - I'm quite curious now!

I think Dandelions are beautiful!!! LOL I was looking at our gorgeous dandelion-lawn and wondered when we started thinking how ugly they were!? I think they are beautiful!! Of course, my laziness might just have somethin' to do with that.

I know that in previous years there have been a ton of dandelions on the grass at Point Pleasant Park down towards the monuments as I've done some shoots there for clients. Depends on if there has been lawn maintenance there lately or not though

So, we never did get around to taking those photos so I guess I will try for some fall photos in the leaves

A great location for fall leaves is Sir Sanford Flemming Park (the Dingle). If you go in by the little gazebo and to the left, there is a nice little grassy area where lots of leaves fall and a bench there. Another great spot is Shubie Park. I do a ton of shoots there in October. Have fun!

there's also a great meadow/field in Mount Uniake near the historic house (forget the name of it) that would be fantastic for pictures.
