I think visiting apple orchards and pumpkin patches is a great way to celebrate to foods of the season. Where do you go to pick apples and pumpkins? And what are your favorite recipes?

Growing up we picked apples at Haneveld's orchards outside Montague PEI and grew our own pumpkins. Favorite dishes were apple crisp and pumpkin pie. My hubby just made our first pumpkin pie of the season and we are planning on making an apple crisp with some apples from the market this weekend.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable
