| My bio: | I'm a mother, wife, and almost-full time software engineer (4 days/week). I'm also the resident handyperson in our house, a recreational gardener, and perpetually on a diet. |

| My idea of a perfect family day: | Sleep past 7:30am, spend a warm but not humid morning outdoors playing and relaxing, no obligations other than to enjoy each other's company and the beauty of nature. |
| Best parenting advice I've ever received: | Be consistent and follow your gut. |
| Worse parenting advice I've ever received: | Can't think of anything specific here but if I don't feel a piece of advice will be helpful in our situation, I am not going to follow it. |
| If I had a whole day to myself, I'd: | Want to spend it reading, relaxing, maybe a trip to the spa. Realistically would probably spend it cleaning windows, changing my air exchanger filters, and getting caught up on other things I should have done 6 months ago but never found the time for. |
