We are looking for a patient, caring, flexible, and responsible woman to provide full time nanny assistance (i.e., weekdays, 40 hours per week; daily start and end times are somewhat negotiable) to begin Sept 1, 2010. Live-in or live-out position available. Rooms in basement suite are available for the live-in position. Job duties involve caring for a 1-year old boy (including meal preparation and taking him to regular activities like play groups), housekeeping for a 2 story house with finished basement, doing laundry for our family (i.e., 2 adults and 1 child), and preparing meals for our family. Good communication skills and prior experience caring for children are essential. Driver's license or willingness to obtain a driver's license is an asset. We may be willing to provide financial support for a driving course in order to obtain a driver's license. We are located in the South End of Halifax. Competitive salary available.
