Are you unable to access midwifery care?

Posted in Research studiesPregnancy

The Department of Health is currently conducting an evaluation of the implementation of midwifery in Nova Scotia. Thanks to lobbying by the Midwifery Coalition of Nova Scotia, the Department of Health has agreed to consider the voices of those women who have NOT been able to access midwifery services since regulation. If you or your family have been affected by midwifery services NOT being available to you (either you live outside of the three District Health Authority model sites, you live outside of the 30km radius set up around the IWK, or you were turned away because there weren't enough spaces in the program), then the Midwifery Coalition wants to hear from you!

Please make your voice be heard!
