Parent Promo: April Giveaway from The Monkey Show

Posted by SarahW in Giveaways

Woot-woot - it’s giveaway time again and you’re going to go bananas for this one!

Did you have a sock monkey when you were a child?  One that your Grandma may have made with slightly uneven button eyes, a lumpy body and a fancy pom-pom hat.  One that got you through a skinned knee or your first day of school and followed you everywhere you went.  Maybe he’s still kicking around in the attic?

Whether you’ve experienced the unique love of a sock monkey or not, your kids definitely should…and thanks to our friends at The Monkey Show , we’re giving you a chance to win one.

Plaid, striped, polka dots or plain – The Monkey Show’s “Build-Your-Own Sock Monkey Kit “ includes everything you need to make your own lovable sock monkey.  Not to mention the quality time and fun you’ll have making this with your child.  It’s a giveaway that keeps on giving!

To enter, just post a comment below and tell us what you would call your sock monkey for your chance to win 1 of 2 Build-Your-Own-Sock Monkey Kits.  We’ll make the draws on Apr 22nd in celebration of Earth Day and announce them on this blog and on our Facebook page during the week of the 24th.

For more great changes to win, be sure to join The Monkey Show’s facebook page to stay in the loop on their exclusive contests and promotions.

Good Luck!

My 4 year old daughter calls her sock monkey "Monkeymy", she said it one day meaning to say "my monkey", and it stuck. So, this one would be for my 2 year old son, and since he constantly copies his sister, it would probably be "Monkeymy the 2nd"

Although I would have guessed "Monkey" to fit in with Froggy, Kitty, Sheepy, you get the picture - the vote seems to be for Boris. Did not see that coming.

We would probably call the monkey 'George' because Curious George has ruled our home since our kiddies were tiny. Now 7 and 9, they still LOVE monkeys!!

My kids would probably call him Socky, as they usually name their toys exactly what they are. My daugther's teddy is "Bear" for example.
