This program is offered Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30am at 25 Drysdale Road, Spryfield in the Rec. Center. The program follows the same open times as the schools do and runs from September -June each year. The ages for this program are 0-4. It began in 2007 by the late Rene Quigley and has flourished over the last year.

It is a very busy program with lots of running, cycling and networking of parents and children alike. It is primarily an activity free zone with approximately 9000 square feet of space. All parents are required to stay for the duration of the program and supervise their own children as it is not staffed, but run by the parents themselves.

The program is free, however participants' contribution to the program is required. There are many areas that participants can contribute to, for example, setting up toys or the refreshment section or cleaning up at the end of the program. Donations are always welcomed for the refreshments and for the running of the program itself. It is the only free program of its kind in the Halifax area.
