Do Re Me & Maria's Rhythm and Rhyme CD takes children on a journey through the rudiments of rhythm and song. Since all children learn through their play, I have designed an action-filled CD which develops these musical concepts:

• Keeping the beat

• Rhythmic patterns using hand clapping and percussion instruments

• Pitch and tempo

• Active listening

Your child will enjoy playing in Old MacDonald's band, learning the letters of the alphabet by marching around a circle of letters, making rubber spiders crawl up their bodies, playing in The Dinosaur Band and forming popsicle stick rhythms. They will also do "The Macarena" while becoming familiar with its Spanish words.
