Veith House is a community resource center located in the North End of Halifax. We offer an in-home parenting program, trustee and advocacy services, counselling, a Friday morning parent and tot drop-in. a preschool, and our CAP Site, which is free of charge to the public.

The in-home parenting program is available to anyone in the Halifax/Dartmouth/Sackville area. We cover topics like child development, communication, safety/baby proofing, handling the stress if being a parent, etc.

The preschool is fully subsidized and we also run a summer day camp in July and August for ages 3 and up. We also offer supervised access services for non-custodial parents. There is also an Art Gallery that showcases the work of artists with disabilities.
