| Parents of Multiple Births Association (POMBA) |
The Parents of Multiple Births Association - Halifax Region is a non-profit organization of parents and guardians of multiple birth children. Our purpose is to provide moral support to each other and to open communication channels with the community on the unique situation of multiple births.
If you wish to become a member, you will receive many benefits, including a monthly newsletter, access to our extensive supports system and most important of all - contact with other families with multiples. We also hold clothing sales twice a year as well as many other events including a weekly playgroup, swimming, Mom's Night Out, seasonal activities and lots more.
Are you expecting multiples? Or a new parent to multiples?
POMBA provides support to new and expectant parents, whether you are a member of our organization or not. Ranging from a nursing pillow rental program to in-hospital visits, and including our Expectant Parents Information Nights, this support is available to all parents in the Halifax Metro area.
