Details: Join us at the Discovery Centre for cool workshops and demos to celebrate Astronomy Week – May 2 to May 8. Take part in our I Spy: Telescope Workshop, see film canisters go into orbit with the Rocket to the Sky demonstration and visit the moon’s surface with our new LEGO Lunar Bots program. Special guest speakers include European Astronaut, Jean Francois Clervoy (Saturday 11am), and member of the Royal Astronomical Society, Paul Heath (Sunday 2:30pm!
We will also be showcasing our Digital Planetarium so you can visit distant galaxies and other celestial objects without leaving the planet!
