Details: Celebrating the 251st Anniversary of the Founding of the Sambro Island Lighthouse.

Highlights for families include:

Community Parade Celebrating All Things Lighthouse, Sat 10am-noon, Atlantic View Drive Sambro Head to James McPhee Memorial Ball Field
Family Carnival Activities & BBQ (adult & kids, various games and activities), Sat 1-4pm, Sambro Elementary School
Sambro Island Lighthouse Tours, Sat 10am-4pm (depart/return on the hour), Government Wharf Sambro
Dory Races & Demonstrations, Sun 1-3pm, Ketch Harbour Community Wharf, Ketch Harbour
Rubber Duck Race, Sun 2pm, Sambro Creek, Near the Beach Road
Fireworks Display, Sun 10pm, Crystal Crescent Beach
