Come down to the Halifax Waterfront this Saturday, August 22nd and enjoy the action packed Kids Zone at Nuts4Ribs - Canada's only rib fest for testicular cancer and men's health awareness! Kid Zone highlights include:
* Inflatable Bouncers
* 11 am - Story time with Richard Rudnicki, illustrator of I Spy a Bunny and Gracie, the Public Gardens Duck
* 1 pm - Story time with Carrie Muller, author of Terrible, Horrible, Smelly Pirate
* Rosanna White from Bead Dazzled will be with us all day to do beading projects with the kids
* Dinosaur Egg Dig, Duck Pond, Fishing Hole, Face Painting, Tattoos, Arts & Crafts & more!
And, for the grown ups, the 3rd annual festival will feature lip-smacking ribs and authentic BBQ, a sponsored beverage garden, the Cojones Cook-off challenge, rib eating contest, Nuts4Ribs/DYC Regatta, first-ever 3-on-3 ball hockey tournament, silent auction (includes Taylor guitar signed by Dave Carroll).
