Pick a common activity, such as eating lunch, brushing hair or talking on the phone, and act it out. The older your child is, the more complicated the activity can be. Be very detailed in how you act it out - if you are getting dressed, do up each button as you normally would. Use your facial expressions but no talking or making sounds! Have your child guess what it is you are doing. Then let your child be the mime! (For the younger kids you might want to suggest an activity for them to mime.) | Read more... |
