You need: 2 cups corn flour, 5 cups cold water, food colouring Mix the corn flour to a smooth paste with a little cold water using a large pot. Then add the water and stir over low heat for about ten minutes until the mixture has thickened to desired consistency. Ideally, you want it so that it will pour slowly and keep its shape briefly when moulded or patterned with fingers. Add the food colouring for colour. Depending on your child's age, let them help you make this so that they can see how its consistency changes, learn about mixing colours, and practice the skills of pouring and stirring.
