You need: empty coffee can with 2 plastic lids, contact paper, glue, pencils, empty thread spools Cut out the bottom of the coffee can and cover the can with contact paper (your child can decorate this if desired). Then glue the plastic lids to each side of the can. Glue the lead end of the pencil (not the end with the eraser) into the hole of the thread spool to make a drumstick. Make two - one for each hand! Let your child explore the sounds of their drum and make hopefully beautiful music to your ears! Recommended age: 12 months and up, with supervision (keep an eye on the drumsticks with the younger kids - might be best to just let them drum using their hands and blocks, etc) | Read more... |
